MCKS Caring Heart Foundation, HLAF pursue medical mission at Caloocan City Jail Male Dorm



CALOOCAN CITY – In partnership with the  Humanitarian Legal Assistance Foundation, Inc. (HLAF), MCKS Caring Heart Foundation, Inc., conducted a medical and dental mission at Caloocan City Jail Male Dorm last March 19.

170 inmates attended the medical checkup and 70 inmates for the dental checkup. The medical mission was made possible in cooperation with Caloocan City Hall Health Department and in partnership also with the Caloocan City Jail Male Dorm.

Present during the medical and dental mission are staff from HLAF Ms. Carmelita Torrefiel, HLAF community organizer; Mr. Jamil Nuevo, HLAF social worker; Ms. Ma. Luisa Bautista, HLAF Communications Officer and Maria Carmela Matibag, intern from Batangas State University together with Ms. Donna Bigcas from MCKS Caring Heart Foundation who led the distribution of medicines to the inmates.

The medical mission was conducted to give attention to the medical needs and health of the inmates in Caloocan City jail male dorm.
